I bought a notebook today, hopefully i can write down my idea, some thought, some emotion. Basiclly it serve as a diary, but i would like to call it a notebook.

*definition of diary:
1. A daily written record of (usually personal) experiences and observations
2. A personal record book (as a physical object)

I dun believe i can write it everyday. so, it not a diary in any sense.

+++++

A very brief post by me. A longer soon.

Ethos, pathos, and logos

Ethos, pathos, and logos are super useful tools, especially if you want to get better at persuasion, writing, or even just understanding how people make arguments. Here’s a simple breakdown: Ethos = Credibility It's about convincing your audience that you are trustworthy or an authority. Example: “I've been a dentist for 20 years — trust me when I say this toothpaste works.” Pathos = Emotion It's about stirring your audience's feelings — fear, joy, anger, sadness — to persuade them. Example: “Imagine the pain your child feels with every cavity because you didn't choose the right toothpaste.” Logos = Logic and Reason It's about using facts, data, or logical arguments. Example: “Clinical studies show that this toothpaste reduces cavities by 60% within six months.” Together, they’re like a full toolkit: Ethos makes people trust you. Pathos makes people feel something. Logos makes people think logically.
