Be it 4 hours or 8 hours, you will not be wanting to hang around the airport for that length of time, though to be fair there is a lot to do at Singapore's Changi Airport and you will not be bored!

taking the bus from Singapore to Johor Bahru - updated

You can travel by bus from Singapore to Johor Bahru quite easily.

You can even spend a day shopping in Johur Bahru (or JB as it is usually known as) all you need is your Passport, your ID card, a few Ringgits, your bus pass and away you go!

Indeed. Its THAT simple and ez. +++++++ Loh Hon Goh [L.H.G] 罗汉果 1. Of course, a bowl. 2. Loh Hon Goh, 罗汉果 . Because only 2 of us, so we only need one L.H.G. We bought 2, only cost us like rm1++. 3. A pack of Mi Jao，蜜枣. Cost us like rm2+. 4. A pack of dry Longan. RM2.50. * you can have 海底椰 and 雪耳 too* 5. Tear off the 罗汉果. 6. Put everything inside the bowl. one teared apart 罗汉果, half pack of longan, 10 pieces of 蜜枣. and also the last and the most important element-- water. 7. Boil it for an hour. *my kichten is kinda dirty, i know it well* 8.
